BUILDING CONFIDENCE, LEADERSHIP, AND OPPORTUNITY
Empower the Next Generation
We deliver year‑round programs that mentor youth, teach life skills, and open pathways to college, careers, and entrepreneurship.

How We Began
Today's Youth was formed from a passion for empowering, educating, and preparing youth to enter adulthood with the tools to achieve their goals and accomplish more than they ever dreamed possible.

After years of working closely with at-risk youth and seeing firsthand the gaps in life skills, motivation, and healthy relationships, Founder and Executive Director Nicole Harris launched My Brother’s & Sister’s Restoration in March 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia. Her goal was simple but powerful: to meet youth where they are, speak their language, and inspire them to dream big, work hard, and persevere despite obstacles.
More than a place to gather, Today’s Youth was created to equip young people with the tools to make sound decisions, plan for their future, and believe in themselves. Rather than building a standalone space, Nicole chose a collaborative model—partnering with schools and youth-serving organizations to deliver high-quality, impactful programming.
In August 2008, the organization relocated to Houston, Texas, and began operating as Today’s Youth in May 2011. Since then, Today’s Youth has served hundreds of young people across the Houston area through hands-on activities, real-world conversations, and dynamic curriculum that empower today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders.
